I originally planned to buy out the lease on my Equinox. I stopped in at Champion Buick simply to inquire about a trade in value. Billy-Geddis-Mccririe was beyond helpful. We had a moment to see what available cars were on the lot. We test drove an Encore. But my husband encouraged me to check on a different one. We did, and even without taking a test drive, decided that's the one I wanted! The manager, Brad Fite introduced himself and spoke with us as well. What a wonderful, kind young man. These two men were not just about words, but their actions showed they really cared. They showed my husband and I that buying a car can be a great experience. (In the past, we have had an unpleasant experience with salesmen acting unprofessional and rude when trying to purchase a car) Not here at Champion Buick GMC! He went out of his way to show me the many different "gadgets, buttons and features of the vehicle."As I am almost 83 years old, he was very patient and kind in dealing with me and my lack of knowledge of the newer cars-----------------as I no longer would drive my beloved 2009 Chevy Malibu. He even programed my cell phone to the car, as OnStar no longer offers phone service, which I had depended on. Also tried to program my garage door opener with the vehicle.After my husband passed away, you all were very kind in helping with the return of his truck ------and picking up my Malibu for service. It was too long of a process. It needs to be streamlined, one less person in the paper process. The monthly payment and lender selections should be revealed upfront, earlier in order to give the buyer all the facts efficiently. Distrust builds in the purchaser, as this key information is withheld, until very late in the process.
The whole Champion staff was incredible from beginning to end. They are family owned and this really shows in their quality of employee and level of service. My Service Professional, Vince, was absolutely amazingwith a perfect zero pressure attitude, and is the reason I've decided that they've earned my business from now on. Champion is very fortunate to have someone of his caliber working for them. While I got to meet the heads of all the departments recently when buying a new truck, I didn't get to meet every other team mate there, however I have absolute faith that I and my new vehicle will always get the highest level of care.
